Etheric Echoes is a home and garden site for people with a small place and a real budget. If you rent, have one good window, a patio about the size of a parking space, or a yard you mostly see after work, this site is for you.

There are two halves. Inside covers houseplants and warm rooms: living rooms, bedrooms, coffee corners and reading nooks. Outside starts with the backyard after dark, with string lights, lanterns and fire pits, then moves on to bird baths, flower beds, porches, patios and balconies. This month is the seasonal page, with what to plant, bring inside, make and light right now.

Two free tools are there when you need them: the indoor plant finder for picking a houseplant, and the garden zone guide for your garden. The pages name real plants, sizes and steps.

Small living room with a fire lit, a cream sofa with plaid pillows and a knit throw, two lamps on, and a wood coffee table with a candle and an open book
